Why is a payment method option missing on the invoice checkout page?

While Paycove supports many different payment method option using Stripe's Universal Payment Element, you may notice that a particular payment option is missing. This can occur for a variety of reasons, such as the ones listed below:

  • We'll start with the most straightforward explanation: You may simply need to have the payment option enabled. Learn how to do so here.
  • The specific currency is not supported for that payment method.

  • Region restriction: The country is not supported for that payment method (see the Billing Details of the customer in Stripe).

  • The payment option is paused or requires action before it can be used.

  • A custom rule is in place that limits when the payment option can show up.
