What is a transaction ID number?

The transaction ID, also know as the charge ID, is a non-editable number generated in Paycove to keep track of each transaction. This number will appear in the Payments table of an invoice after a payment is made. Note that it is different than the quote/invoice number, and is also separate from the number generated by your payment processor (such as Stripe or Payfactory).
