What is Stripe Elements?

We are pleased to announce that Paycove now fully integrates with Stripe's Universal Payment Element, also referred to as Stripe Elements for our purposes. Elements offers a secure, easy-to-navigate payment experience that allows you to present 40+ payment types to your customers, including card payments, Link, Klarna, and Cash App. 

To ensure continued compatibility and access to the latest payment features, we recommend switching from Stripe standard to Stripe Elements (found on your Payments page in the Payment Methods section) if you have not already done so. Stripe strongly recommends taking full advantage of this feature as well, as it is considered their modern standard. This will come at no additional cost to you, and the setup is simple. What are the benefits of Stripe Elements?

• More ways to pay = quicker payments!
• Automatically displaying the most relevant payment methods based on your customer's location and device.
• Showing only the payment methods supported for your customer's currency.
• Allowing you to turn new payment methods on and off directly from the Dashboard without having to request a new payment method.

Will it work with my product subscriptions?

Yes. We are pleased to announce that our Stripe Elements integration now fully supports subscriptions. If you currently use subscriptions, or plan to in the future, you can safely switch to Stripe Elements.

What if I'm a Stripe Standard user?

Stripe Standard is not being removed from Paycove, and you may continue using it for the time being. However, we are deprecating support for the feature, meaning that we will no longer be actively maintaining or updating this integration. For the best long-term experience, we recommend upgrading to Stripe Elements.
